In order to celebrate this milestone and bring such large acts and thousands of guests to Downtown Muskegon requires hundreds of friendly and smiling volunteers. We would love to have you volunteer for our event. If you volunteer for a shift you can stay and watch the rest of that day’s show for free! Volunteer Position Descriptions

Beverage Server (Beer, Wine or Tequila): In this non-stop pace area you will pour and serve beer and wine, and collect tickets from patrons. You must be at least 21 years of age to serve and Alcohol Awareness training is encouraged. You will be on your feet and doing repetitive movements during your shift. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Beverage Ticket Sales*: Sell beverage tickets at a ticket booth. Cash handling skills required. All volunteers in this position must be approved by the City Treasure.

 Carts*: Assist volunteers and guests and getting to and from the venue from the Mart Dock and volunteer parking lots. Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Food Vendor Assistant: Work with the Food Vendor Team Lead in keeping the vendors supplied and informed.

Friends of the Festival: Enhance the guest experience by ensuring all park policies are being followed, assisting with directions and helping in areas low on volunteers.

Gate Check-in: Check guests IDs as they enter the park and put on the appropriate wrist band for 21-or-over with ID proof or non-ID/20-or-under.

Site: Set-up and tear-down of festival grounds. If you are interested in volunteering in this area, please sign up for the Thursday shift. You will be contacted to set up your actual volunteer schedule. Help is needed from July 2-15 and times are flexible.

Ticket Sales: Assist in day-of sales of tickets to the festival.

 Volunteer Tent: Assist in volunteer check-in. You may also be asked to fill in for areas where volunteers need a break or are under-staffed.
